Robert Allen Rustay Obituary, Death;- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Cumberland County on Tuesday, according to the coroner’s office.
Two cars and a motorcycle collided in the 500 block of South Third Street near Clark Street in Lemoyne Borough around 7:30 a.m. According to the coroner, the motorcyclist, identified as Robert Allen Rustay, 65, of New Cumberland, died at the scene.
According to the West Shore Regional police chief, one person who was at the crash scene was taken into custody and showed “signs of impairment.” Police said one of the drivers was transported to the hospital with injuries. Pennsylvania State Police are conducting a crash reconstruction.
Emergency crews are at the scene and blocking off the roadway. According to PennDOT, South Third Street is closed between Haldeman Avenue and Walton Street. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes. It’s unclear when the road will reopen.
