Phillip Andrew McBride Obituary, Death; – A 37-year-old man has been recognized as the sign spinner who tragically lost his life in a tractor-trailer accident in Henrico County on Thursday morning.

On Friday, September 5, the Henrico County Police Division confirmed the identity of the victim in the fatal crash that occurred in Henrico on Thursday as 37-year-old Phillip Andrew McBride, who was pinned beneath a flipped tractor-trailer.

At approximately 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, officers responded to the scene of a fatal accident involving a tractor-trailer, another vehicle, and a pedestrian at the intersection of Williamsburg Road and S. Laburnum Avenue.

The pedestrian, identified as McBride, was trapped under the tractor-trailer, which had overturned. He was declared dead at the scene, as reported by the police.

Police stated that a preliminary investigation suggests the tractor-trailer was transporting a concrete slab when it collided with a small straight-truck carrying propane at the intersection.

The small straight-truck, which was on S. Laburnum Avenue, entered the intersection with a green light and struck the tractor-trailer, according to police.

No additional injuries were reported, police stated.
