Patricia Britt Obituary, Death; – A 61-year-old woman was pronounced dead by Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley after a shooting at the well-know landmark South of the Border Thursday. Patricia Britt of Marlboro County died as a result of the incident.
The shooting took place at the Pantry West at South of the Border off Highway 301 Thursday afternoon, according to Dillon County Sheriff Jamie Hamilton. Officers found Britt dead after being shot.
During the investigation, detectives identified multiple suspects in this case.
As of Friday afternoon, deputies have charged and arrested Tina Rebecca Pernell, 39, of Hamer with accessory after the fact of murder. She’s being held in the Dillon County Detention Center.
Ja’Heem Antwan Pernell, 19, of Hamer, is wanted for murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Aalyiah Monique Priest, 22, of Hamer is also wanted for murder. Both wanted suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach or contact law enforcement.
