Olivia Harrison Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed that a body discovered in the Mississippi River belongs to Olivia Harrison, who had been reported missing earlier. On Wednesday, Davenport police announced that the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 24-year-old Harrison after her body was located at the riverfront near LeClaire Park on October 24.
Investigators indicated that there is no evidence of foul play, and the case is still under review. The Scott Emergency Communications Center received a report regarding the body at approximately 1:03 p.m. on October 24, as stated in a police media release.
According to the medical examiner’s investigator, the body appeared to have been in the water for a significant duration. Harrison had been missing since October 16, just one day prior to her parents’ planned visit to a doctor to address her mental health challenges.
