Nicholas Rados Obituary, Death; – An Arlington resident has lost his life, and another young individual has been charged in connection with the incident that resulted in his death.

Emergency services were dispatched at approximately 2 a.m. to the scene of a collision on the 2200 block of N. Harrison Street, located in the Tara-Leeway Heights area, south of Langston Blvd. According to Arlington County police, a vehicle driven northbound by an 18-year-old Arlington resident collided with multiple parked cars and subsequently overturned.

Reports indicate that one of the four passengers in the overturned vehicle was ejected. Despite receiving immediate medical attention at the scene and being transported to a nearby trauma center, 19-year-old Nicholas Rados was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital.

Nicholas Rados was a graduate of Washington-Liberty High School, class of 2024, and was known for his participation in lacrosse, golf, and basketball, according to various online sources.

The driver has been charged with DUI/Involuntary Manslaughter and Breath/Blood Test Refusal, as reported by the police. He is currently being held without bond at the Arlington County jail.

According to the Arlington County Police Department, preliminary investigations suggest that alcohol may have played a role in the crash. The accused, Brooks Bare, is also a 2024 graduate, having attended H-B Woodlawn.
