Miranda Grocesley Obituary, Death; – At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Miranda Grocesley, aged 34, from Joliet, was fatally shot at a residence in South Holland, as reported by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The cause of her death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds.
According to a spokesperson for South Holland, Grocesley was shot during a gathering at the home located on Park Lane near 155th Street. She was subsequently transported to UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The spokesperson indicated that a suspect is currently in custody, although the motive remains unknown.
