Miguel Angel Vazquez Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian was struck and fatally injured by a sedan while attempting to cross a street in Modesto early on Sunday morning. The Modesto Police Department reported that the incident occurred at the intersection of Paradise Road and Leon Avenue at approximately 2:36 a.m.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the victim as Miguel Angel Vazquez, who was reportedly living without permanent housing in Modesto at the time of the incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered Vazquez deceased in the roadway. According to witness accounts, a black sedan collided with Vazquez as he crossed Paradise Road and subsequently fled the scene, traveling westbound.
