Michaela Carpenter Obituary, Death; – A woman discovered deceased in a residence on Monday, prompting a homicide investigation, has been named.
As previously mentioned, Dayton police received a call around 1:20 p.m. regarding a lifeless body in the 100 block of East Hudson Avenue.
The deceased woman, identified as Michaela Carpenter by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, was found by a relative who had not been in contact with her for several days, according to Maj. Brian Johns of the Dayton Police Department.
Additionally, Carpenter’s young child was located in the home and subsequently transported to Dayton Children’s Hospital. Johns stated that Carpenter’s death is being treated as a homicide. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
