Marvin Aroldo Juan Obituary, Death; – A man from Decatur, identified as Marvin Aroldo Juan, succumbed to injuries sustained from a stabbing by his girlfriend on Saturday night, as detailed in an affidavit from a Decatur police investigator submitted to the Morgan County District Court.

The affidavit states that on January 25, at approximately 10:12 p.m., officers from the Decatur police department were dispatched to a residence located in the 1300 block of Noble Avenue Southwest. Upon their arrival, they discovered Juan with a significant stab wound to the chest. He was subsequently transported by emergency medical services to Parkway Medical Center, where he later passed away due to his injuries, as reported by the police.

Detective Brandon Sain indicated that Juan’s girlfriend, Alicia Petrona Alvarado, was found in possession of a knife when officers arrived at the scene. Alvarado, aged 34, has been arrested and charged with murder. She is currently being held without bond, awaiting an Aniah’s Law hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
