Marilyn Miller Obituary, Death; – A woman tragically lost her life in a grain bin incident on Thursday morning in Marshall County, as reported by Coroner Dean Byers.
“She was attempting to dislodge the grain for loading purposes when she was pulled down,” Byers explained. “Fortunately, she did not come into contact with the auger.”
The incident occurred on a farm located midway between Plymouth and Bourbon at approximately 10 a.m. The deceased has been identified as 58-year-old Marilyn Miller from Mishawaka. Byers noted that the precise cause of her death has yet to be established.
“We are uncertain at this point. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday),” he stated. Byers remarked that, in his experience, such incidents are uncommon. “I have been in this office for several years and have never encountered a case like this,” he added.
