Lucas Bentley Randall Obituary, Death; – A 43-year-old tow truck operator from Glen Rose tragically lost his life on Sunday morning following an incident in which his vehicle hydroplaned and subsequently overturned on U.S. Highway 67/377 near Blanket Creek.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m., as reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The individual, identified as Lucas Bentley Randall, was heading south in a 2012 Peterbilt 337 tow truck when he lost control due to the wet road conditions. After skidding towards the median, Randall overcorrected, resulting in the truck veering off the west side of the highway and overturning.
Justice of the Peace Bryan Thompson pronounced Randall dead at the scene. The Department of Public Safety indicated that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. At the time of the accident, the weather was cloudy, and the road surface was wet. The speed limit in the area is set at 75 miles per hour.
