Lorenzo Davis Jr Obituary, Death; – Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a 17-year-old boy late Thursday night at a North Birmingham apartment.
Lorenzo Davis, Jr. died at the scene, according to the coroner. It happened in the 2900 block of 29th Avenue North in the Collegeville public housing community around 11:30 p.m.
“We believe numerous shots were fired outside of the apartment into a nearby vehicle and into the apartment the victim was discovered in,” said Public Information Officer Truman Fitzgerald.
At this time, it is unclear if the teen was shot outside or inside the apartment. No suspects are in custody.
