Kylie Toberman Obituary, Death; – A 14-year-old girl from Illinois was reportedly murdered by a repeat offender after being reported missing on Friday, as stated by officials.
The Illinois State Police informed Fox News Digital in a statement that the 14-year-old girl was killed in Vandalia on Friday. Megan Zeller, the biological mother of the girl, identified her as 14-year-old Kylie Toberman.
Arnold Rivera was apprehended following the death of the 14-year-old and has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated criminal sexual assault, and concealing a homicidal death, according to a spokesperson for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office who spoke to Fox News Digital. The girl had been reported missing on Friday.
As reported by KSDK, Zeller mentioned that her daughter was discovered inside an RV situated behind the residence where the girl had been living.
“I will not remain silent or cease until my child receives justice!” Zeller expressed in a Facebook post.
Records examined by Fox News Digital indicate that Rivera has a criminal record that dates back to 2000. In that year, prosecutors in Macon County, Illinois, dropped charges of criminal sexual abuse involving a child aged between 9 and 16, as well as burglary, in return for a guilty plea to felony aggravated battery, according to court documents reviewed by Fox News Digital.
