Kevin Dominique Obituary, Death; – A 15-year-old male has been apprehended and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the deadly shooting of his brother, whose remains were located near a canal in Dania Beach on Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies arrived shortly after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Ocean Waterway Boulevard and Old Griffin Road, where they found the body of 23-year-old Kevin Dominique.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators indicated that Dominique had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities later established that his 15-year-old sibling shot him within the family residence on Southwest Sixth Avenue before transporting his body to the canal.
The adolescent, whose identity has not been disclosed to the public, was taken into custody and moved to the Juvenile Assessment Center for processing.
