Juan Otilio Tista Tista Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified a man from Bridgeport as the moped rider who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run incident on Saturday.
On Wednesday, Fairfield police confirmed that the individual was 25-year-old Juan Otilio Tista Tista. The collision occurred on Post Road near South Benson Road at approximately 9:30 p.m., according to police reports. Officers located the driver of the vehicle who had fled the scene later that evening, but the identity of this individual remains unknown. Tista Tista, aged 25, succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital, as stated by the police.
“Currently, the investigation into the crash is ongoing,” remarked Fairfield Police Sgt. Jenna Wellington on Wednesday. “We are collaborating closely with the State’s Attorney’s Office and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to ensure a comprehensive and precise examination of the incident.”
