Joseph Altorelli Obituary, – A 20-year-old man from Henrico has tragically lost his life following a collision in Richmond over the weekend. According to law enforcement, the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday on North Laurel Street.
Reports indicate that the motorcyclist, identified as Joseph Altorelli, 20, from Glen Allen, Virginia, was traveling northbound on North Laurel Street when he struck a vehicle that was turning at the intersection of West Grace Street.
Altorelli was transported to a hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene of the accident.
It remains uncertain whether any charges will be brought forth. Hanover County Fire-EMS has confirmed that Altorelli was a volunteer firefighter and also held a position in Fairfax.
