Jorge Carmona Obituary, Death; – A teenager lost his life while cycling in the northern suburbs over the weekend, as reported by law enforcement officials. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Belvidere Road and Fulton Avenue, according to Waukegan police. The 17-year-old was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle.
Authorities indicated that the driver did not remain at the scene following the collision. Upon their arrival, police discovered the teenager unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the location. The Lake County Coroner’s Office later identified him as Jorge Carmona, a resident of Waukegan. The Waukegan Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is currently investigating the incident.
