Jorge Andres Delgado,Leticia Placencia Alvarado Obituary, Death; – A deadly multi-car crash in Santa Ana left two people, including the wrong-way driver Monday evening.
The crash happened on Main Street and Warner Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. Police say one of the two fatal victims was the wrong-way driver, identified as 29-year-old Jorge Andres Delgado of Santa Ana.
The other victim was identified as 32-year-old Leticia Placencia Alvarado of Santa Ana. Santa Ana police said a driver traveling at a high rate of speed headed northbound on Main Street went into traffic headed in the opposite direction. The driver then crashed with three other cars.
Five people were transported to the hospital. They were not injured but were transported as a precaution, police said. According to Santa Ana police, those transported were a family of five in ages ranging from one to 39 years old. It was not clear if alcohol was a factor in the crash.No further details were immediately available.
