Johnny Carlton Elder Obituary, Death; – According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, one individual has lost their life and two others have sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle collision. Authorities reported that the incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of South Line Street and East Poinsett Street in Greer.
Three individuals were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital, and the coroner’s office was notified several hours later. It has been confirmed that one of the drivers succumbed to their injuries shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified by the coroner as 63-year-old Johnny Carlton Elder from Greer. The South Carolina Highway Patrol has yet to disclose the circumstances leading to the accident. Investigations are being conducted by both the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the Greer Police Department.
