John Emmett Zudrow Obituary, Death; – The Green Lake Police Department identified the child who died after he was hit by a car while riding his bike.
The police department said John “Emmett” Zudrow was riding his bike with two family friends on Wednesday morning on a sidewalk on the north side of Hill Street. Police said an 85-year-old Germantown woman was trying to park in the angled parking area along the north side of Hill Street when the vehicle went over the curb and hit Zudrow.
Zudrow became trapped underneath the vehicle and had serious injuries, Green Lake Police Department said. Police and EMS responded just before 10 a.m. to the crash in the 500 block of Hill Street, in Green Lake.
Officials took the boy to Ripon Medical Center, where he died. Green Lake Police Department, Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash. It is unclear if the driver faces any potential charges.
