Jesse James Dallman Arrested; – A man was taken into custody on Friday following the discovery of a deceased woman at a campsite, as reported by the Sierra County Sheriff’s Office.
Early Friday morning, deputies received notifications regarding a potential dead individual at a dispersed campsite located south of the Sierra Brooks community.
According to the sheriff’s office, a woman was found deceased, and an “incoherent male” was present at the scene. Sierra County deputies requested assistance from the California Department of Justice Bureau of Forensic Science and detectives from the Pluma County Sheriff’s Office to aid in the investigation due to the suspicious nature of the circumstances.
Subsequently, Sierra County deputies arrested a man named Jesse James Dallman, 36, from Sun Valley, Nevada, on charges related to homicide. No additional information has been disclosed.
Deputies have indicated that they believe the incident to be isolated and that there is no known threat to public safety.
The investigation is ongoing.
