Jayesth Paul Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost their life in a tragic semi-truck accident in Dubuque County was identified on Tuesday.
On Monday at approximately 6:10 p.m., the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Highway 61 southbound following a report of a vehicular collision resulting in injuries.
Authorities conducted an investigation into the event, which determined that the semi-truck driver had stopped to secure his cargo when another vehicle traveling southbound collided with the rear of the semi-trailer, as well as with the semi-truck driver.
The semi-truck driver, who has been identified as 26-year-old Jayesth Paul from Canada, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
The other party involved was taken to a local hospital for assessment.
