James Quick Obituary, Death; – An elderly man lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Thursday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 9:38 p.m. on U.S. 42 near Fields Ertel Road in Sharonville.
Authorities reported that an initial investigation indicated that 87-year-old James Quick was attempting to cross U.S. 42 outside of a designated crosswalk when he was struck by a 2023 Ford F-150. Quick was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries and subsequently passed away. The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were unharmed in the accident. The investigation is still ongoing and is being conducted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Hamilton Post.
