James O Malley Obituary, Death; – Van Buren authorities suspect that a 19-year-old is responsible for the death of a man discovered near a roadway on Sunday morning.
Anthony Lee Tabor, a 19-year-old resident of Van Buren, has been taken into custody under a warrant for second-degree murder. He had previously been apprehended on charges related to theft by receiving in connection with this case.
The deceased, identified as 34-year-old Michael James O’Malley from Van Buren, was found near the intersection of South 40th Street and Kingsberry Drive shortly after 11 a.m. on Sunday. This location is situated in a neighborhood adjacent to a large open field.
O’Malley’s remains have been forwarded to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Authorities have chosen not to disclose additional details regarding the incident, expressing their consideration for O’Malley’s family.
