Esteban Ramirez III Obituary, Death; – The individual who was shot and killed at a Circle K gas station located off I-37 on Thanksgiving Day has been identified as 47-year-old Esteban Ramirez III, as confirmed by officials from the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office.
On Thursday, officers from the Corpus Christi Police Department were dispatched to the Circle K gas station following reports of a shooting that occurred at approximately 2:56 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Ramirez in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The alleged shooter, identified as 33-year-old Julian Rodriguez, fled the scene prior to the police’s arrival but was apprehended by 9:30 that evening. According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, Rodriguez and Ramirez were acquaintances.
