Daryl Hamilton Obituary, Death; – The Baton Rouge Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that resulted in the death of one individual and left another person injured in the early hours of Thursday, October 10.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Daryl Hamilton. As reported by the sheriff’s office, Hamilton and another male were struck by gunfire at approximately 12:52 a.m. on East Buchanan Street, close to Highland Road. Authorities indicated that both individuals were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Unfortunately, Hamilton succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival at the medical facility, according to police reports. At this stage, the motive behind the shooting and the identity of the assailant remain unknown.
