Darius Canuto,Virgilio Cunanan Obituary, Death; – Two individuals who lost their lives in a two-vehicle accident in Porter Ranch were officially identified on Thursday.
The victims of the incident were Darius Canuto, aged 68, and Virgilio Cunanan, aged 56, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department declared them deceased at the scene.
The accident occurred at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting a response from Los Angeles Fire Department personnel to the location at 10700 Tampa Ave., situated south of Chatsworth Street, as stated by LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
A man in his twenties, who was driving a gray BMW involved in the accident, sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the LAFD. The investigation into the cause of the collision is currently ongoing.
