Dailyn Ford Obituary, Death; – The name of the person found shot to death last Wednesday on the South Side has been released.
The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office said Dailyn Ford, 18, is the person who was found shot to death by police answering a gunfire call just after midnight June 18. Police said Ford was found in the street and officers and medics with EMT Ambulance did first aid on him at the scene but he later died.
There have been no arrests so far. A message was left with the police department’s Chief of Detectives. Ford’s death is the eighth homicide in Youngstown this year. Last year at this time, the city had 13 homicides and 22 for the year.
