Corey Adams Obituary, Death;- A former football player from Edna Karr was fatally shot on Saturday night in Memphis, Tennessee.
As reported by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Corey Adams, aged 18, was killed at approximately 10:14 p.m. on Saturday at a residence located on Fern Glade Cove in Cordova.
Deputies indicated that they intercepted a vehicle at the intersection of Forest Hill-Irene and Walnut Grove, where they found a man, later identified as Adams, suffering from gunshot wounds inside the car.
Despite administering life-saving measures, Adams was declared dead at the scene. Additionally, deputies found that four men had arrived at a hospital with gunshot injuries. All four victims are currently reported to be in non-critical condition.
Adams had committed to Ole Miss and was only months away from beginning his freshman season.
This case remains under investigation.
