Corbin Scott Cornett Obituary, Death; – An 18-year-old individual who was fatally shot on Saturday in the vicinity south of downtown Fort Wayne has been named. The Allen County Coroner’s Office confirmed on Tuesday that the deceased is Corbin Scott Cornett, a resident of Fort Wayne. The coroner has classified the cause of death as homicide.
Fort Wayne police were dispatched shortly after midnight on Saturday to a residence located in the 1000 block of Huestis Avenue, near Broadway. Upon arrival, officers discovered Cornett with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. The coroner’s examination revealed that he succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
