Christopher Sanders Obituary, Death; – Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are conducting an investigation into a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred early Monday morning. At approximately 5 a.m., troopers arrived at the scene of the accident located near FM 54 and County Road K, to the north of Abernathy.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 35-year-old Christopher Sanders at the site of the incident. The preliminary investigation indicates that Sanders was either seated or walking near the westbound lane of the road when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
