Christopher Holloway Obituary, Death; – A 23-year-old man who passed away following a reported overnight shooting in Boise earlier this week has been identified.
The Ada County Coroner’s Office announced on Tuesday that Christopher Holloway of Boise succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, with homicide determined as the cause of death.
Officers from the Boise Police Department responded to the 2200 block of North Dalton Lane at approximately 11:41 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, after receiving a report of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, police discovered an injured individual – now recognized as Holloway – in a parking lot on North Dalton Lane. Officers administered medical assistance until Ada County Paramedics arrived to take over care, as reported by Boise Police.
According to the coroner, Holloway was declared dead at the scene in the early hours of Sunday, June 30, after attempts to save his life were unsuccessful. The police promptly secured the area and initiated an investigation.
Detectives are currently requesting that anyone in the vicinity who possesses private surveillance footage or doorbell camera recordings that may have captured vehicles or suspicious activities related to the shooting contact Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
In an update on Tuesday, Boise Police indicated that evidence suggests a possible suspect vehicle departed the shooting scene, heading towards Sunflower Lane and subsequently North Maple Grove.
