Candace Lorraine Rios, aged 72, was a pedestrian involved in the incident that occurred on Highway 202, just north of Cummings Valley Road in Tehachapi, at 9:24 p.m. on January 22. She was taken to Kern Medical, where she was declared deceased at 7:52 p.m. the following day, as reported by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
