Braxton Jarmon Obituary, Death; – A student from the Leander Independent School District has tragically lost his life due to extensive flooding in Central Texas, as reported by the principal of his school.
In a communication sent to families on Monday, Glenn High School Principal Josh Haug confirmed that Braxton Jarmon was a victim of the recent floods.
The letter indicated that Jarmon was preparing to begin his sophomore year at Glenn High School. Haug mentioned that Jarmon’s sister, Felicity, who is also a student at Glenn High, is currently unaccounted for, along with the students’ stepmother.
“This unimaginable loss weighs heavily on our hearts,” Haug expressed. “If you require any services or someone to talk to, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to support you.”
Glenn High School will provide counseling services from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, July 15, for anyone seeking assistance during this difficult time. Parents and guardians are encouraged to engage in conversations with their children about death, offer various methods for expressing their emotions, and remain vigilant for any changes in behavior.
