Bryar became a member of the band in 2004 after encountering them during their tour with The Used. He contributed his drumming skills to the 2006 album “The Black Parade,” which remains the band’s most iconic release.
Additionally, he was involved in songwriting for MCR’s 2010 album “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys,” although he departed from the band prior to its launch. He holds the record as the longest-serving drummer in the history of My Chemical Romance. In 2020, Bryar participated in a tribute for the late Rush drummer, Neil Peart, sharing a poignant story about their friendship.
