Ashley Maria Leath Obituary, Death; – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the driver who lost her life in a four-vehicle accident on New Circle Road on Monday afternoon.
The coroner reported that 39-year-old Ashley Maria Leath, a resident of Lexington, succumbed to blunt force trauma to the head and torso. She was declared deceased at UK Medical Center shortly after the incident.
Investigators have stated that the accident took place on the outer loop of New Circle Road, close to Georgetown Road, and involved two construction vehicles along with two passenger cars.
The Lexington Police are actively pursuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
