Ashley Dominguez Obituary, Death; – Authorities are actively investigating leads related to the fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in South Nashville, as reported by the Metro Police Department (MNPD).
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Ashley Dominguez, while the two other individuals injured in the incident are both 19-year-old women. The shooting took place outside an “after-hours club” located on Murfreesboro Pike at approximately 5:30 a.m. Witnesses informed law enforcement that a heated dispute preceded the gunfire directed at a vehicle carrying five individuals, including Dominguez and the two injured women.
According to MNPD, the vehicle entered a parking lot in the 1300 block of Murfreesboro Pike after the occupants realized that the three women had sustained gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where Dominguez was later pronounced dead. The other two women received treatment for their injuries and were subsequently released, as stated by MNPD. Investigators have conducted interviews with several individuals, and the inquiry remains ongoing.

Following the shooting, the victims drove to a location at approximately 5:30 a.m. at 1321 Murfreesboro Pike, where they contacted law enforcement.
Upon arrival, police found that one of the four victims had succumbed to injuries at the scene, while the remaining three were transported to Southern Hills Hospital. Authorities have not released any information regarding a suspect or the motive behind this tragic shooting. The area near 981 Murfreesboro Pike was closed off on Sunday morning as police conducted their investigation.
