Allen D Reed Obituary, Death; – A 48-year-old man from Livingston lost his life on February 1 in a single-vehicle accident in Sumter County. The victim has been identified by Alabama troopers as Allen D. Reed.
According to the troopers, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Reed’s 2005 Mercury Mountaineer veered off the roadway, collided with a ditch, overturned, and subsequently struck a tree on U.S. Highway 11. Reed was transported to Hill Hospital in York, where he was declared deceased.
The incident took place roughly one mile south of Epes in Sumter County. The Highway Patrol Division of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
