Alfaro Auner Obituary, Death; – Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide detectives have been apprehended in relation to a shooting incident that occurred in the Tomball area on Sunday, July 27.
HCSO has identified 51-year-old Baldomero Ortiz as the individual responsible for the murder of Alfaro Auner. Auner was a relative of the shooter.
It is believed that the confrontation stemmed from a prior dispute between the two men. Detectives from the HCSO Violent Crimes Apprehension Unit subsequently located Ortiz and took him into custody later that same evening following the shooting.
As reported by the sheriff’s office, Ortiz confessed to the shooting and acknowledged that he accidentally shot himself in the leg during the incident.
Ortiz is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital for the gunshot wound and will later be transferred to the Harris County Jail, where he will be processed and charged with murder.
