Adonis Turner Obituary, Death; – A man has lost his life following a collision with a light pole in Champlin early Sunday morning.
Champlin police reported that officers were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 169 and West River Road shortly before 4 a.m. The Minnesota State Patrol, which is conducting the investigation, indicated that the man was traveling north on Highway 169 when he veered off the road and struck a light pole at the intersection.
Although he received medical attention at the scene, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries, according to authorities. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the deceased as 35-year-old Adonis Turner.
At the time of the incident, the road conditions were wet. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident, and no additional injuries were reported. What remains unclear is whether alcohol played a role in the crash, as authorities have not yet determined this.
