Adam Emerick Obituary, Death; – A man from Franklin County has lost his life following a collision with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 81, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police. The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred in the northbound lanes close to Exit 1, Maryland Line, in Antrim Township at 2:33 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30.
Authorities indicated that a Mercedes-Benz sedan struck the rear of a tractor-trailer that was parked illegally on the right side of the roadway. The driver of the sedan, identified as 33-year-old Adam Emerick from Greencastle, was declared deceased at the scene. There were no other reported injuries. All northbound lanes of Interstate 81 were closed for several hours before they were reopened.
