Barbara Martin Obituary, Death; – The individual who tragically lost her life after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday has been named by law enforcement officials. Barbara Martin, a 73-year-old resident of Freeport, was in the process of crossing North Main Street close to Stevens Street when she was hit by a 2014 Lincoln, according to police reports.
Following the incident, Martin succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital shortly thereafter, as stated by the authorities. The driver involved in the accident was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation is currently underway by the police.
