April Marie Lindsey Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost her life in a devastating accident that resulted in the closure of I-59 on Tuesday morning has been named.
April Marie Lindsey, aged 52, was driving southbound on I-59 between 4th Avenue S and 1st Avenue N when she became involved in a multi-vehicle collision. Lindsey, who was the sole occupant of her vehicle, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 7:04 am, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
The incident led to the interstate being shut down for more than two hours on Tuesday. The Birmingham Police Department is actively investigating the details surrounding the accident.
