Carlos Gonzales Villega Obituary, Death; – A cyclist who lost his life in an accident at a hazardous intersection in Level Plains has been named. Coffee County Coroner Arnold Woodham confirmed the identity of the deceased as Carlos Gonzales Villega.
Coroner Woodham stated that Villega, who is residing in the country without legal status, was identified on Tuesday; however, authorities have been unable to reach his family despite significant efforts.

According to police reports, Villega was struck by a vehicle and fatally injured on Sunday night while attempting to cross Highway 84 at the intersection with County Road 709 on his bicycle. Level Plains Police indicated that the driver of the vehicle was not impaired by alcohol at the time of the incident.
