Adam Brown Obituary, Death; – A Cox employee who was shot on Monday afternoon in New Orleans East has succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is currently treating the incident as a homicide. The victim has been identified as Adam Brown.
As reported by the NOPD, the shooting occurred in the 8000 block of Dwyer Road at approximately 12:27 p.m. Cox has confirmed that the individual involved was an employee, but neither Cox nor the NOPD has disclosed any information regarding the circumstances leading to the shooting.
In response to the incident, Cox released the following statement: “We are aware of a shooting involving one of our employees. We are profoundly saddened by this news and are collaborating closely with investigators.”
