Susan Henson Obituary, Death; – A woman from Gresham who sustained gunshot wounds has succumbed to her injuries, and law enforcement has apprehended a suspect in connection with the incident.
On December 10, officers from the Gresham Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the vicinity of Southwest Pleasant View Drive and Southwest 14th Drive shortly before 3 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered an individual, later identified as Susan Henson, who had been critically injured by gunfire. Despite being transported to a trauma center, Henson did not survive her injuries.
Initially, Gresham police did not disclose whether any arrests had been made related to the shooting; however, on December 16, they announced the arrest of 26-year-old Kuian Kellum at the scene.
Kellum faces charges of attempted murder and first-degree assault, with the possibility of additional charges forthcoming. The Gresham Police Department has not provided any details regarding the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting.
