Tacobe Kindred Obituary, Death; – Law enforcement officials investigating the death of a minor in Kansas City have confirmed the identity of the victim as 15-year-old Tacobe Kindred.
Shortly after 5 p.m. on Sunday, patrol officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Bales in Kansas City following reports of a shooting, as stated by KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
First responders were directed to a residence on the block, where they found the young boy suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers promptly initiated life-saving measures and requested emergency medical personnel to the location. Emergency medical services transported Kindred to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Initial investigations indicated that an argument during a birthday celebration escalated, resulting in gunfire that ultimately struck the victim. Detectives are actively canvassing the area for potential witnesses, while crime scene investigators are collecting any available physical evidence.
The Kansas City police urge anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact law enforcement or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS. A reward of $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.
