Daniel Lourenco,Jennifer Lourenco Obituary, Death;- Three family members were among the four individuals who lost their lives in a collision that occurred Sunday morning south of Turlock. Their identities were confirmed on Monday morning.
As reported by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office, the victims included Turlock residents Daniel Lourenco, aged 44, and his wife Jennifer Lourenco, aged 45. Their 16-year-old daughter, Madelynn Lourenco, also perished in the incident. Additionally, Uriel Guizar Negrete, 22, the driver of the 2008 Infiniti sedan that collided with the Lourenco family’s Jeep SUV, was identified as another victim.
Jennifer Lourenco served as an education specialist teacher at Sinclear Elementary School, as stated by the Ceres Unified School District.
“While we are still grappling with this unimaginable tragedy, our thoughts are with the Lourenco family and their loved ones,” the district expressed in a statement on Sunday evening. “Mrs. Lourenco was a moderate-severe teacher at Sinclear Elementary School and was honored as Sinclear’s Teacher of the Year for the 2023-24 academic year. She was a talented and devoted educator, and her absence will be profoundly felt within the school community. The district is providing counseling services at Sinclear and all other CUSD schools for any students and staff in need of support.”
