Justin Mark Arrested; – A suspect sought in connection with a prior shooting incident was apprehended early Monday morning (Dec. 16) while attempting to gain entry to an apartment in Bogalusa. Authorities identified Justin Mark shortly after receiving a tip from a witness who reported seeing him at the Sunset Acres apartment complex.

Upon arrival, officers engaged in a brief altercation with Mark before successfully making the arrest. Following the arrest, police executed a search warrant, leading to the recovery of three firearms, illegal drugs, and significant amounts of cash associated with drug trafficking.

Mark was wanted on felony warrants stemming from a shooting that took place in November in the 1700 block of Dolly Avenue. According to police, Mark discharged his weapon at three individuals before fleeing the scene in a vehicle with two other suspects, Carlos Interiano, 21, and Damien Thomas, 24. Authorities report that Interiano was taken into custody on Nov. 23. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact Bogalusa detectives at 985-732-6238.
