Pablo Ivan Lopez Marin Obituary, Death; – A 25-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross State Route 78 in Escondido has been identified by local medical authorities.
According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, the incident occurred on November 24 at approximately 9:22 p.m. Pablo Ivan Lopez Marin, a resident of Spring Valley, was running eastbound across SR-78 between Rock Springs Road and Centre City Parkway when he was hit by a Toyota SUV.
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene of the accident. The driver, a 28-year-old woman, along with her 19-year-old passenger, remained at the site and were reported to be unharmed, as stated by the California Highway Patrol. The Medical Examiner’s Office classified Lopez Marin’s death as accidental. Traffic conditions were significantly affected for several hours following the collision.
